Apply for a Vehicle Import Approval

Applying for a Vehicle Import Approval(VIA) through the Australian Government's ROVER(Vehicle Standards legislation) can be very time-consuming and quite frankly confusing. Taurus Logistics are very familiar with dealing with the Department of Infrastructure and can apply for the Vehicle Import Approval on your behalf.

We only require a small amount of information as below and our fee of AUD250.00 + GST, which includes the fees charged by the Department of Infrastructure. Once we have applied for the Import Approva,l it will take 30 business days (as per theDepartment of Infrastructure guide) to receive the approval.

I hereby authorise Richard Hack to act on my behalf via the ROVER Portal in all matters relating to submitting a vehicle import application.

I have read and understood the Agent Authorisation Policy

The agent is authorised to provide information in relation to obtaining a vehicle import approval on my behalf, including the signing of all documents relating to a vehicle import application. The Department may seek personal information from the authorised agent in relation to the import application, which may include but is not limited to:

• Visa details.
• Date of move/intention to move to Australia.
• Date of purchase and registration of the vehicle.

The agent will also be privy to information about the import application or approval, such as:

• Conditions of the import approval.
• Information provided to the Department regarding a previous import application.

Any acts carried out by Taurus Logistics Ltd on my behalf shall have the same effect as acts of my own. I acknowledge that providing false and misleading information to the Department is a serious offence as set out in Part 7.4 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to 12 months.

Application Confirmation

Once we have your documentation, we’ll apply for the import approval and send you a confirmation number within 24 hours (Monday to Friday).

Import Application Decision

You will be notified directly by email from the Department of Infrastructure of the decision. Once you have the decision approved we can get your vehicle booked and underway.
